Architectural Scale decanter #5516WS in Teal, designed by Wayne Husted in 1955.

This extremely rare and early architectural scale decanter was one o the designs responsible for propelling the poularity of the genre. It was awarded recognotion by Ramond Loewy in a juried design competition in 1957 and exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum's influential exhibition "Design For the Home" in 1958. This massive cylindrical form was offered with or without the large button stopper.

Measures 32 inches tall x 7.75 inches diameter.
